About us

Effectmakers is a software vendor dedicated to business planning and trade promotion management. The company was founded in 2011 by Henrik Hamre and Mads Okkels Hansen. The objectives were clear: To develop the best software tool for key account planning for the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
Our many years of experience in this business gives us the ability to create the powerful solution we call BMS.
 
Today, the BMS software solution is in the 5th generation with a well proven track record and more than 1,000 active users. Today, we are 7 employees working exclusively on constantly improving the software.

The Effectmakers BMS is Cloud-based – however if the customer insists on an on-premise solution this is possible. The system is based on Microsoft Azure which provide a solid foundation of cloud computing when it comes to both performance and compliance. Furthermore, BMS is based on the well-known and recognizable Microsoft software.

Mads made this first business planning system in 1999 and has since then been working with software development and software implementation for CPG companies. Mads is the CEO of Effectmakers and is personally involved in Enterprise implementation and product development.

Henrik has a MSc (Econ.) and has been working with branded goods for more than 25 years. With different responsibilities from Key Account Manager to Sales director and Management Consultant, Henrik has a deep knowledge of the needs in consumer product companies. Today Henrik is Chairman of the Board and Sales Executive in Effectmakers.
